As the photograph that Kris holds is one of the more important props in the short, I wanted to concentrate on how I could illustrate their relationship with their original best friend from their old school. I made two versions, one with writing on it and one without. This was because I wasn't sure if the writing would set up the notion of Kris having moved schools in a way that was too obvious or direct.
